well actually it is something my grandmother says- and my mom as well- from like age 13 and up to me, their girl, that most guys are liars and cheaters and all they want is to get in a girl’s pants and they will tell her anything to get in her pants, and it is better to not date and wait around on guys and to focus on your school work! because these young boys will give you an std or get you pregnant, and they don’t care. they won’t take care of the child.

You should always wait for a guy to contact you first (in the early stages of dating obviously.) If he’s interested he will make sure to contact you. If he’s not, he won’t, and you will keep your dignity by not contacting him and being blown off.
It seems to make sense, but maybe guys need a bit of encouragement too and a girl contacting a guy first isn’t a big deal? I’m confused! What do you all think?
